Once again we made our trek to So Cal. This time we were joined by Mike's parents and Aunt Carol during the first half of the week. In fact, it was the first time Aunt Carol had ever been to Disneyland. My godmother joined us during the second half of the week. We had a great time.

Sisters, Sisters... there were never such devoted sisters. Two generations of sisters.

I love this resort! Everytime I go I miss California which is funny because I really didn't appreciate it all that much growing up.

Tetherball anyone... They had some games out and around the resort and this was one of them. Funny thing Mike and I remember playing this as a kid but you never see it at the schools anymore.

The kids were fastinated by the Coi pond. In fact, Lysie thought she could talk to the fishes.

One of the days we were there we happened upon a Sand Castle Contest at one of the local beaches. It was really cool.

Addie and Lysie felt inspired. They wanted to enter the contest themselves.

Decided to try and get some shots while on the rides this year.

Pirate ship looks kind of trippy.

I still can't believe I actually pulled my camera out during this ride. I got off a few shots just before going down the flume.
I can't get over how different the park looks at this time of year. They never used to decorate like this for Halloween! It was so much fun.

It's a small world has always been one of mommy's favorite rides. Clearly it's one of Lysie's favorites too!

Addie's Jedi Training- This is something new that they're doing at Disneyland. You have to get choose which was a hard thing with Addie. But with a lot of Lysie's help she made it.

The First Day of School

I still can't believe my baby is in Kindergarten. Where did the time go?! Her transition was not quite as smooth as Addie's but we were very blessed that Lysie got Addie's former kindergarten teacher. She is a doll and Lyise already loved her & felt comfortable with her. We were equally blessed with Addie's teacher. Addie took to her quickly and is a much happier child this year. She's extremely confident in her abilities and is tummy ache free. Ironically, we found out just the other day that her teacher is the Aunt of Addie's best friend from preschool.

Lala & Piggy

These were taken this summer at a hotel in San Antonio. After a day in the sun the girls were cuddling with their stuffed animals and watching a movie. These are the same stuffed animals that they've slept with since they were babies.

The Art Show

The girls go to this amazing art teacher in Cedar Park. It's kind of a hike to get there but it's well worth it I've found no one local that does as good of a job with my kids. She has an art show a handlful of times a year. These were taken at the art show this summer. Addie is already talking about what pieces she's going to put in to the next show.

This is a close up of Addie's chipmonk.

Blowing Bubbles for Kate

Aside from trying to eat everything off the ground. Kate was also getting into my drawers and trying to open my cabinets (Thank goodness I still have child safety locks on.) I've seen what she can get into in her own house so I thought blowing bubbles at her was a better idea.
