October 2012.... I know it's been awhile since I've posted. Trying to find a way to do this easy. So friends can see pics but I don't have to spend forever picking photos and uploading. Click on the photos and it will lead you to my site with a series of photos from pumpkin patch, fall festival, pumpkin carving and Halloween. E is constantly cracking us up. We put her in bed Tuesday night and when M when in to check on her she had put costumes on all her animals. When I asked her about it the next morning she said "You can’t stop them. They bought their costumes and they’re ready to party!"
No pictures. Too busy working right now but I have to say I'm mesmerized by the large snowflakes falling outside my office window. They're HUGE! I so wish my kids weren't in school right now so that they could just enjoy this very rare treat. It's actually sticking!!!

Lyise with one of her closest friends
These shots were taken the day the girls got the haircut. Lysie insisted on cutting hers in a bob so that she could look just like her teacher.
Daddy had been doing a lot of traveling toward the end of last year. These were pictures I sent to him of the girls saying goodnight.
Addie as princess leia of course! What will she do next year? She's out of female Star Wars characters.

Once again we made our trek to So Cal. This time we were joined by Mike's parents and Aunt Carol during the first half of the week. In fact, it was the first time Aunt Carol had ever been to Disneyland. My godmother joined us during the second half of the week. We had a great time.

Sisters, Sisters... there were never such devoted sisters. Two generations of sisters.
I love this resort! Everytime I go I miss California which is funny because I really didn't appreciate it all that much growing up.
Tetherball anyone... They had some games out and around the resort and this was one of them. Funny thing Mike and I remember playing this as a kid but you never see it at the schools anymore.
Addie practices her rock climbing skills with Daddy.
The kids were fastinated by the Coi pond. In fact, Lysie thought she could talk to the fishes.
One of the days we were there we happened upon a Sand Castle Contest at one of the local beaches. It was really cool.
Addie and Lysie felt inspired. They wanted to enter the contest themselves.
Decided to try and get some shots while on the rides this year.
Pirate ship looks kind of trippy.
I still can't believe I actually pulled my camera out during this ride. I got off a few shots just before going down the flume.
I can't get over how different the park looks at this time of year. They never used to decorate like this for Halloween! It was so much fun.
It's a small world has always been one of mommy's favorite rides. Clearly it's one of Lysie's favorites too!
